Almost perfect day….

We woke up this beautiful Saturday morning a bit earlier than we wanted to…when Sashka called us. As usual, he was already standing in his crib, waiting for us, holding his friends, Mimi and Slon. We started our usual routine, had some breakfast, and Mishutka left to meet with his coworker, John. Shortly after, he came back home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for the Mother’s day, which is tomorrow. Nice surprise! Also, today is six weeks since Nastenka was born. Our little peanut is so awesome!!! We, of course, took some pictures of her and went out to our favorite sushi restaurant, called “Aji” for lunch. It was very nice and warm outside. That’s about time! The winter and spring were quite cold. At the restaurant, Mishutka and the kids surprised me again with a nice card and gorgeous jewelry set. It was so sweet when my little boy tried to hand me the card. I got a bit emotional, because everything looked so sweet and perfect….and I guess I am still getting used to the notion of the Mother’s day. Unfortunately, after lunch we had to rush home, as Mishutka was leaving for Dublin, Ireland in the evening. After we said goodbye to him, Sankin and I decided to watch a concert of Елена Ваенга “Песни военных лет”. We sat on the couch, I hugged him, and he put his head on my shoulder with blanket covering us. It felt very cozy. We enjoyed the concert a lot, even Sashka was sitting quietly, “как мышка” for a long time. Nastenka was just next to us, sleeping “посапывая” in her cradle. My heart was warming up just looking at them two. It could have been a perfect day if Mishutka was here, with us….
