Today, Misha and I worked from home, as it was snowing outside, and roads were not that safe to be on. They were actually fine, but, according to the American standards, they were “bad”. Snow started to fall in late evening last night, and, at 4:47 am, when I woke up and went to check on Sankin, it was really beautiful outside. It was nice to stay home and spend more time together, and watch Sankin play and run around, trying to steal whatever he could lay his “lapka” on. He was actually a very good boy today. After breakfast he took a long nap, and woke up in a good mood. We, of course, could not really work, since he was constantly asking for our attention.

And then, in the afternoon, he took a sweet and long nap on the “big” bed, holding his favorite bottle of milk. We looked at him with Misha, and our hearts sang songs. He looked so cute and peaceful. We were somewhat envious, since we also wanted to take a nap on such a snowy day. Oh well…maybe next time. Sankin also played in the Papasan chair, which he has been doing lately, and, for the first time ever, he reclined it a bit too much and took a tumble. He didn’t get hurt and clearly thought that was fun. Pretty much everyone who ever sat in that chair fell out of it… except, of course, Misha. It was a really nice day, I wish it would snow again tomorrow… but then again, I’m ready for the Spring and new adventures outdoors.
